Ecuador Beaches

Ecuador is full of beautiful and untouched beaches. This is a picture of Engabao, located in the province of Guayas. Tania and I found this hidden surfing beach last weekend after a wrong turn out of the beach town of Playas.

This is a small fishing town with very little tourism. One small store is located at the look-out point with water and ice cold beer.

Driving your own car is the best way to explore Ecuador beaches. I drove up and down the beach, right on the sand, and didn’t see another person. I have always wanted to do this since living in southern California. Here I am leaving the beach.

The locals were all smiles watching the crazy gringo drive up and down the beach. They appeared very happy to tell us about their little part of Ecuador.

Do you have questions about Ecuador Beaches?

Tania and I will be at the beach this week investigating for our upcoming Introduction to Ecuador Course and Tour. Our exploratory trip will cover beaches from Pedernales south to Olon. We will spend time investigating beach towns and real estate deals in places such as Bahia de Caraquez and Manta. We are also planning to find out what’s happening in San Clemente, and other growing beach towns.
